The Member Type column on your Members list shows where each person is with your academy.

The member types

  • Lead — known to your academy but not enrolled in anything yet. For example, they filled in one of your forms, signed up, or were added or imported without an enrolment.
  • Unpaid customer — enrolled in at least one product, but has not paid. For example, a free course, a 100%-off coupon, or a manual enrolment.
  • Paid customer — has paid you, through Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal, or through a payment you recorded.

How a member moves between types

A Lead becomes a customer the first time they are enrolled in a product, and a Paid customer once they have paid. A member never moves back to Lead.

See only one type

  1. Go to Members.
  2. Click Add Filter and choose Member Type.
  3. Choose Paid Members, Unpaid Members or Leads.

In an exported member list, the Member Type column shows LEAD, STUDENT (enrolled, not paid) or CUSTOMER (paid).
