How to Enable WhatsApp Notifications for Admins and Members

FreshLearn now allows both admins and members to receive WhatsApp notifications along with email updates. Here’s how you can enable this feature for admins and members.

Here is a detailed step-by-step video.

For Admins: Enabling WhatsApp Notifications

  1.  Go to → Settings → Admin Notifications
  2. Click on the WhatsApp tab.
  3. Enter the WhatsApp number where you want to receive notifications.
  4. Click Verify (it may take up to 5 minutes for verification).
  5. Once verified, you will see a green check mark next to your number.

Admin Notifications Include:

  1.  New enrollments
  2. Payment confirmations
  3. Course completion updates
  4. Other key actions

For Members: Enabling WhatsApp Notifications

Step 1: Collect Members' WhatsApp Numbers at Checkout

  1.  Go to Courses → Select a Course → Pricing
  2. Click on Additional Fields
  3. Enable "Collect Customer Phone Number" and mark it as mandatory
  4. Click Save

This ensures that members provide their WhatsApp number during checkout.

Step 2: Enable Member WhatsApp Notifications

  1.  Go to → Settings → Member Notifications
  2. Click on WhatsApp Notifications
  3. Enable/Disable notifications for:
  • Course enrollments
  • Digital downloads
  • Product bundles
  • Other key actions

Final Notes

  1.   Admins receive alerts for important events.
  2. Members stay updated on their courses and purchases.
  3. WhatsApp notifications enhance engagement and response rates.
