How to Translate Your Member Portal Using AI

FreshLearn makes it easy to offer a localized learning experience by translating your member portal into multiple languages. Using the Translate with AI feature, you can automatically translate custom text fields, saving time while ensuring your platform is accessible to learners around the world.

Here is the step by step video

Add a New Language

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select Languages.
  3. Click Add Language.
  4. Choose the language you want to add (for example, Portuguese).
  5. Click Add.

The newly added language will initially contain the default English text.

Translate Content Using AI

Instead of translating each text field manually, you can use AI to translate all supported text automatically.

  1. Open the language you added.
  2. Click Translate with AI.
  3. Wait for the translation process to complete.

AI will translate the available custom text fields into your selected language.

Note: We recommend reviewing the translated content before publishing to ensure it matches your preferred terminology and tone.

Save Your Changes

After reviewing the translations:

  1. Make any necessary edits.
  2. Click Save to apply the changes.

Translate Other Sections

You can repeat the same process for other customizable sections of your platform, such as:

  • Dashboard text
  • Lists
  • Labels
  • Other customizable interface elements

This helps provide a consistent experience throughout your member portal.

Enable the Language

Once your translations are complete:

  1. Enable the newly added language.
  2. Log in to your Member Portal.

By default, the portal will be displayed in the admin's default language (English, if set as the default).

Members can then switch to the newly enabled language from the language selector. Any sections that have been translated will automatically appear in the selected language.
