How to Enable Security Features on the Member Portal

Enable and Experience Member Portal Security Features

Securing your member portal is essential to protect user accounts and valuable course content. The member portal offers robust security features, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and right-click protection. Enabling these features helps prevent unauthorized access and content downloads. This article explains how to activate these security options and demonstrates the member experience when these protections are in place. Implementing these features enhances both account safety and intellectual property security for your courses.

To enable and experience member portal security features

1. Navigate to Settings in your admin dashboard.

The Settings page opens, displaying various configuration options.

2. Select Member Portal Security.

The Member Portal Security section appears, showing available security features.

3. Review the available security options:

a. Multi-factor Authentication – Adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code after login.

b. Right-Click Protection – Disables right-click actions to prevent downloading of text and images.

Both options are displayed for configuration.

Note: Multi-factor authentication helps ensure only authorized users access course content. Right-click protection helps safeguard your materials from unauthorized downloads.

4. Click Enable next to the security feature(s) you wish to activate.

The selected security feature(s) become active for your member portal.

Important: You can enable one or both features as needed for your security requirements.

5. Visit your member login page to experience the security features as a member.

The member login screen appears.

6. Enter your email address in the login form.

The email address is accepted, and the password field becomes available.

7. Enter your password and submit the form.

You are prompted to enter a verification code.

8. Check your email inbox for the verification code.

The verification code is delivered to your registered email address.

Note: The verification code is valid for ten minutes.

9. Enter the verification code on the login page.

Your identity is verified, and you gain access to your course dashboard.

10. Select your course from the dashboard to proceed.

The course content page opens.

11. Attempt to right-click on the course content area.

Right-click functionality is disabled, preventing downloads of text and images.

Note: This protection helps stop unauthorized copying or saving of your course materials.
