Add and Use Tags for Product Bundles
Tags help you organize product bundles, making it easier to segment and filter them for both administrators and members. By adding tags, you can improve search and navigation, allowing users to quickly find bundles by topic or type. This article covers how to create a new tag, add it to a product bundle, and use tags to filter bundles as both an admin and a member.
This workflow involves three main procedures:
- Create a new tag for product bundles – Set up a tag in your system for use with product bundles.
- Add a tag to a product bundle – Attach the tag to a specific product bundle.
- Filter product bundles by tag – Use tags to filter bundles as an admin or member
Create a New Tag for Product Bundles
Creating a tag allows you to categorize and segment your product bundles for easier management and improved navigation. Tags must be created before they can be assigned to product bundles.
To create a new tag for product bundles
1. Navigate to Settings in your admin dashboard.
The Settings menu appears.
2. Select Custom Settings.
The Custom Settings section opens.
3. Choose Tags from the available options.
The Tags management screen is displayed.
4. Click the Add button.
The form to create a new tag appears.
5. Enter the desired name for your tag in the Name field.
The tag name is entered.
6. Select Product Bundle as the entity for this tag.
The tag is now associated with product bundles.
7. Click Save to finish creating your tag.
Your new tag is now created and available for use.
Add a Tag to a Product Bundle
Adding a tag to a product bundle enables you to categorize it, making it easier to filter and locate later. Only existing tags can be assigned to product bundles.
To add a tag to a product bundle
1. Go to Products in your admin dashboard.
The Products section opens.
2. Select Product Bundle.
A list of product bundles is displayed.
3. Choose the bundle you want to tag.
The selected product bundle details are shown.
4. Open Settings for the selected bundle.
The settings menu for the bundle appears.
5. Navigate to Product Bundle Details.
The details page is displayed.
6. Scroll down to the Tag section.
The tag section is visible.
7. Add your tag in the tag field.
The tag is entered for the bundle.
8. Click the Add symbol to attach the tag to your bundle.
The tag is now successfully added to your product bundle.
9. (Optional) Close the window if you are finished.
The window closes and your changes are saved.
Filter Product Bundles by Tag (Admin)
Filtering product bundles by tag allows administrators to quickly locate bundles by topic or category, improving efficiency and organization.
To filter product bundles by tag as an admin
1. Click on the Filter option in the product bundles section.
The filter options appear.
2. Select Tags from the filter options.
The tag selection menu is displayed.
3. Choose the tag you want to filter by.
The selected tag is highlighted.
4. Click Apply Filter.
All product bundles assigned with the selected tag are displayed.
Filter Product Bundles by Tag (Member)
Members can use tags to browse and filter product bundles by type or topic, making it easier to find relevant products.
To filter product bundles by tag as a member
1. Log in as a member.
The member login dashboard appears.
2. Select the relevant product you want to browse.
The product details are displayed.
3. Click on Tag.
The tag filter options appear.
4. Choose the tag you want to use for filtering.
The tag is selected.
5. Click Apply.
The bundles that match the selected tag are displayed.
